Wow! I'm horrible at monitoring this blog :)

Well, I suppose since it's been over a month since our last posting, we should probably get at it again. It seems like we have so much other stuff to do that I put the blog as our last priority, but I do think it's a good way to talk about your books to the whole class and get ideas for other books you may be interested in.
For your posting by Friday, March 12, answer the following questions:
1. First of al, give a short summary of your book.
2. Where is the setting of your book? If there are multiple settings, list them all. Setting includes place and time period.
3. List the conflicts in your book. Who is having a problem(s) in your book?

Damage - A.M. Jekins

1. I Believe that this book is credulous because alot of the stuff goes on in this happens in real life everyday.

2. The major action in my book is the star football player trying to live life going through depression and all day problems, and i am enjoying the book so far.

The house of Thunder

My book is The house of Thunder by Dean Koontz. I think this is a believable story because nothing that couldn't happen for real has happened yet. There's a girl named Susan in the hospital and doesn't know how she got there or what happened to her. When she was younger her boyfriend got murdered. She starts being able to walk around the hospital because she is recovering well, and she thinks she sees the men that murdered her boyfriend. There names aren't the same as she remembers. Susan is almost positive these are the men she knows as murderers. The major action in " The House of Thunder" is the men that she thinks are the ones her murdered her boyfriend are coming back to kill her for sending them away to prison. I love the action in this book it keeps me wanting to read. I like the amount of action in the book because it keeps you thinking about what might happen.

Wrestling Sturbridge

My story is believable, because it has been only about wrestling so far. So far the book hasn't had any action, and yes I wish there was more.

A child Called "It"

A Child Called "It" is about this kid that get abused by his mother. I believe this book is believeable, because this kid is getting abused and a lot of kids out there are getting abused and I could see it happening by the way the auther tells the story. Not only I think its believable it really did happen.

The main thing is this kid that was not abused before and his two brothers, Father, Mother, and him were a perfect family. Then very quickly his mother changed and started to abuse him and not feed him when he didn't get his chores done or anytime he didn't do what she wanted him to do. His brothers where not abused but he was. They could not talk to him. I like the action because I don't like when people just talk in a book and its not confusing.

My book is about a boy named leo a boy who life is normal before a new girl came to school whos name is Stargirl. Stargirl is not a "normal" person i would say because she likes playing the ualele in the lunch room and she has a pet rat named cinnomen. She aslo likes to think out of the box for things like seeing things in the world that no one else could see. I think this book could use some more action in it because I like action but for the most part its a good book. The only action in it I I would say is that you are wondering how is Stargirl, the most weirdest person you could ever meet, change someones life so extremly on how they look at things in the world.

Rainbow Boys by Alex Sanchez.

I am reading the book Rainbow Boys. I think this book is very credible, because there are a lot of people that either no that they are gay or they think they are gay. And for anybody its gotta be hard to come out to the people that you love because you think they might judge you. There is really not that much action in my book. It just mostly talks about what the guys are going through and how are it is to try to fit in when the people around you don't think its right for you to be gay, and Kyle just came out to his mom and dad about him being gay. His dad and him aren't that close anymore because of it. They often get into fights about it.

Jason and his girlfriend broke up and he told her that he thinks he might be bisexual. Him and Kyle went to the movies and they held hands during the movie, so Jason is a little confused about if he likes Kyle or if he just wanted to see what it was like to hold another guys hand.

Nelson likes Kyle a lot but he doesn't want to tell him that because they are best friends and Nelson doesn't want to mess that up. He wants to be more then just friends with Kyle but he knows that will never happen.

I think this book is a very good book and I really like it! :]
